Come on down to the house that Atari built – uWink on Hollywood & Highland. This is a pretty sweet-ass club, frankly. Brand spankin’ new, too.

About uWink :
According to their press, “uWink is an Interactive and Entertainment restaurant from the creator of Atari”. According to me, it’s a lot cooler than it sounds. Every table has a neat little interactive video menu, from which you can order (and pay your bill) for drinks, appetizers, even a full dinner. In addition, you can play all kinds of free video games on there. So, ya know, if you’re hatin’ the comedy, you can zone out and play games instead, I s’pose.
More importantly to me, however, the comedy area is a separate room from the bar area. And there’s no spill-over of sound from one room to another. It’s a pretty cool place.
Getting There :
If you’re walking up the giant steps that lead into the center of the H&H shopping area, just.. look up to the 4th floor. It’s hard to miss “uWink” facing towards the center of the action.
If you’re driving, just take the elevator/escalator to the 4th floor. You’ll find uWink right next to the series of escalators that lead up to the 4th floor from the parking garage. It’s facing Hollywood Blvd, if that helps.
