It’s a special night of comedy on Thursday, Feb 25th – my friend and fellow comic Tom Cano is havin’ a bday party. Coming along is my close friend (again, fellow comic) Justin Dabuet. It’s gonna be a great show, with great energy. It’s always full of life and fun when we’re gigging together – even on a Thursday!

$10 @ the door, FREE underground parking. The show starts @ 7:30pm (seriously, don’t be thinking “ohhh nothing’s gonna pop off ’til at least 9″, that shit’s uncool and untrue – live comedy, unlike live music, is exceedingly punctual).

As a further motivation Happy hour is now from 7pm to 8pm. Come and get your drink on, so you’re well-liquored when we hurl the funny at ya.

Phoenix! Here I Come!

I’m hosting and performing comedy as part of my longtime friend Jim Louvau’s benefit concert in Tempe, AZ. It’s kinda like a reunion. My longtime-friend Sean Carr, who was once the guitarist in a band I had in Phoenix some 12 years ago, will also be performing with his kick-your-face-in band Lurid State. It’s strange – he’s a vocalist now. And.. I’m a comedian. Jim Louvau, and HIS former guitarist Andy Gerold will also be performing, though I don’t know the exact capacity.

What’s funny is – the last time all 4 of us were on stage on the same night was 12 fucking years ago. It’s like homecoming or something.

I really can’t tell you how excited I am for this show – so if you’re ANYWHERE near Tempe, AZ on Thursday night : fuckin’ GO!

It all kicks off @ 7pm

Kicking ‘10 off @ The Improv

Another year, another pile of gigs. Sure, it’s not quite a New Year’s show.. but it’s damn close. Also, it’s most people’s last night of “winter vacation” away from work. Don’t you wanna go out in style? Good! Cause I’ve got just the thing.

The Rebels of Comedy @ The Hollywood Improv

Yes, us bunch of rebellious miscreants slingin’ humor juice at your face at 100 words per minute. Or something. I’m not very good with math. Or fractions. Or speed ratios. Moving on – c’mon out and have a blast. The Hollywood Improv is the finest comedy club in Hollywood, and there’s almost always a drop-in from a famous comic. No joke, on my first time out there, I ended up following a set from Chris Rock.

You won’t wanna miss it, damnit.

The cover is $14, the parking is free. They start seating @ 9pm, so get there early. I suggest 8:30-8:45pm, cause otherwise you won’t get a good seat (or, in some cases, you won’t get a seat at all!).

My Last Show of the Decade

At the start of this decade, I was but a wee 21 years old. Living in Seattle. Thought I’d still give that whole “musician” thing a shot. I was overall pretty miserable, actually. A girl I was seeing at the time suggested I drop the music and do stand-up comedy instead. After giving up on Seattle and taking an opportunity offered to me by a close friend at the time (Hi, Champagne!), I hauled my shit to Orange County, CA where I eventually decided to get into that whole “comedian” thing. It’s worked out pretty well so far. I think I’ll keep at it.

Come on out and celebrate the end of the decade, the end of the year, the last weekend before Xmas, the last day of Hannukah and.. whatever the fuck else you wanna celebrate all in one night. Should be a spifftastic time, and I’ll be doing an almost-all-new set.

You’re all turned on now, aren’t ya? Thinking, maybe, “I should bring a whole crew out, and we’ll soak our brain cells in the sweet relief of alcohol!”. Great idea. Do exactly that. I promise, you’ll have a fun night. Did I mention I also offer complimentary gropings?

Comedy with Friends

December 4th (the first friday of the last month of the decade!) I’ll be throwing down my unusual blend of ridiculous (emphasis on “dic”) comedy stylings at the Spotlight Comedy Club.

But, wait, it gets better! It’s also the debut of my friend and co-star from “My First Date Book” Justin Dabuet. Though, technically, I guess I was his co-star, since he was the lead and I just played the goofy friend with the bad advice.

Anyway, nevermind all that shit. Just get your shit together, bring your friends and prepare to soak your liver in gallons of alcohol while you endure the comedy cavalcade that The Spotlight Comedy Club never fails to deliver, straight down your greedy little throathole. Umph!
